Lord’s Supper
Výstupní 1495/22, Praha 10
The Lord's Supper is one of the most meaningful moments of the Christian faith. Together, we remember that Jesus' sacrifice on the cross was a personal expression of God's love for each one of us. "Do this in remembrance of me," Jesus told His disciples (Luke 22:19). We will begin the evening by sharing a meal together. Afterwards, we will reflect on the story of Jesus' Last Supper and His self-giving love. Those who wish may voluntarily take part in the washing of one another's feet, following Jesus' example as a symbol of humility, service, and forgiveness. We will then share unleavened bread and grape juice as symbols of Jesus' body and blood. If you are a baptized Christian, we invite you to join us as we once again turn our hearts toward Christ and remember His sacrifice and solidarity with us. If you are not baptized, you are warmly welcome as well. The Lord's Supper can be a personal expression of your desire to follow Jesus and, when the time is right, to publicly affirm that decision through baptism. And if you would simply like to come, listen, and experience the evening without actively participating in the service, that is completely okay too. We'd love to have you with us and share this meaningful spiritual meal together. The event is conducted in Czech, but don't worry, we have English-speaking members who would love to welcome you, chat with you, and answer any questions you may have before or after the program.
