Does it happen to you that you hear strong words, but life remains the same? This inspiration will help you take the first real step. It's not about performance. It's about love in action. About a minor deed that can change more than you can imagine. In the article you will find motivation and concrete examples of why Jesus' example continues to change lives — and yours can change too.
One act that can change everything
You know that feeling? You see a powerful Instagram post, hear something touching or be struck by some quote. At that point, you're like, “Wow, this is strong! “And then... nothing. In a few hours, you're back at your pace, everything's moving on, and what's been vibrating you for a moment is gone. Maybe you had a book in your hand that was supposed to change you. Maybe you heard a sermon that was supposed to rewrite your values. But it remained just a matter of listening.
And you know what? You're not alone in this. Today is full of inspiration, but lacking action. As the Bible says, we are like those who see themselves in a mirror, but immediately forget what they looked like (James 1:22-24). And that's exactly the problem: We listen, but we don't act. But why does it matter?
Believing is not enough. Faith that does not work is dead
This is not a nice slogan - this is what Jakub wrote in his letter. And he was right. A belief that doesn't manifest itself in the real world is like a car without an engine. It may be beautiful, polished, but it won't get you anywhere. God didn't just create us to listen. He created us for works. To the good deeds he has prepared for us. (Eph 2:10)
And this is where the essential begins. You don't have to invent a rocket. One deed is enough.
An act that does not look like heroism
You might immediately think, “OK, so should I go on a mission to Africa or what? “
But the reality is elsewhere. It is everyday triflethat comes from love.
- Write a message to a friend that you are thinking of him
- Invite someone out for coffee
- Forgive, even if it hurts
An example? When I call with Ondra, each of our calls ends with the words, “May God be with you.” It takes 2 seconds. But the impact? Huge for me. And that's just it -- actions that are not about us, but about others. About God.
Jesus is the master of deeds, not just words
Jesus didn't just preach in words. He washes the feet of the disciples. Protects a woman from stoning. Heals. He forgives. And it's not just about actions to effect. It is about heart. And this heart says: love to the extreme. Even Judas Jesus washed his feet. To the one who betrayed him. And this is where it hits us the most. Love is not an emotion. Love is a decision — one that manifests itself in action. And the deed can be quiet. Invisible. But real.
What if you don't know what to do?
Maybe you're like, “Fine, I get it. But then what am I supposed to do? “The answer is easier than you might say. Don't wait for the big moment. Listen to the Holy Spirit. He will guide you.
You might want to write to someone. You might think of someone you should forgive. Perhaps it will lie in your heart that you are supposed to be with someone who feels alone today.
Faith is a breath, not a sprint. And the Holy Spirit breathes life into little things.
Practical challenge
Give it a try. Don't wait. Do one single act of love. Without expectations. Without a drink. Just like that.
And if you want, share it with someone. Not for likes. But in order to They encouraged each other.
Do you want to finally experience change? Start with what you have right now. And the rest? That's up to God.
